Ridgecrest Adventist Elementary has been serving the families of the Indian Wells Valley since 1952.  Our school programming and curriculum is designed to help children grow spiritually, mentally, physically, socially, and emotionally.  We are a National Council for Private School Accreditation (NCPSA) accredited, Christian elementary school serving students from Kindergarten-8th grade.  Being a Seventh-day Adventist School we are part of a worldwide educational system that happens to be the largest private, parochial school system in the world.

Covd-19

*Updated September 02, 2020


Our waiver to do in-class learning has been approved for students who are in Kindergarten - 6th grade. Our 7th and 8th grade students will still have to do virtual learning. School will begin September 08, 2020.


* Updated August 17, 2020


The 2020-2021 school year will begin on September 08, 2020. We have submitted the waiver to Kern County in hopes that we can have in-class sessions. 


* Update April 02, 2020


Our local school district, Sierra Sands, just announced they will keep their schools closed for the rest of the 2019-2020 school year. RAE is required to follow the guidelines of our local school district, therefore we will continue to do distance learning for the rest of the school year, 


* Update March 26, 2020


Our distance learning has been extended to May 1, 2020. Therefor our face-to-face learning will begin May 4, 2020, provided nothing else changes. 



* March 17, 2020


After careful consideration and consultation, the Office of Education has closed all K-12 Schools and Preschools effective immediately until further notice. 


Starting today, those schools that are currently not on Spring Break have begun distance learning with their students. The Office Of Education will post further updates as decisions continue to be made in regards to re-opening our schools and distance learning.
