Ridgecrest Adventist Elementary offers, as part of its curriculum, a gardening program.  We have a large garden which is directly in front of the school as well as hydroponic garden towers in our classrooms.  Students learn first hand the life cycles of plants from seeds to the dinner plate! As well as all the biology that is a part of a plants life.  We even compost our own mulch and have a worm farm providing organic fertilizer for our plants.
